What to buy?

We know a special 7 year old princess that is very difficult to buy for.

She. Has. Everything.

So when it was time to put together her gifts for the party, I was stumped.  And then I remembered a video I watched for pajama pants.  Have I told you lately how addicted I am to Shabby Fabrics?!  (I know...only a million times).

Last night before I went to sleep I watched this video -

Luckily I had already purchased some 'Frozen' fabric and I was pretty sure I had enough.

I watched the video again this morning - then with time running out, I had to figure it out =) So I gathered up the fabric -

and then just to make sure,  I asked Jennifer to follow along LOL

then step by step these cute little pajama pants came to life -

I even had time to whip up a matching pair for her American Girl doll, too  Such fun!

This was such a fun, quick project.  If you're looking for something to do with some warm fleece and a little bit of trim, this is awesome.  Be sure to watch the video so you have the exact process straight from Jennifer.

As seen on TV -

Well, not quite but this seemed very familiar.  As a child (and even our grown up days) did you ever just HAVE to have that SOMETHING that was advertised on TV.  If your parents were like mine, they had a fit.  They tried to convince us that THEY NEVER WORK.  But oh no.....it has to...it IS on TV.

Well, the other night was very entertaining in our household.  Kayden loves, LOVES to make things so Cierra picked out the perfect Christmas present  -

and what else do you do on Wednesday night (with school out ALL week?!)  You make bracelets!

SO - Cierra  unpacked the box -

read the directions -

and then the frustration kicked in -  Notice a change in her 'attitude', ha!

Even YOUTUBE couldn't help -

This actually cracked me up - it did NOT HELP AT ALL =)

But then Poppy came to the rescue -

With one patient little girl -

And all was well with the world =)

Yep!  I always say it takes a village.

It still wasn't a smooth process - anyone out there have any suggestions?

Two Adorable Girls......

These two were anxious for dinner.....fried chicken and mac n' cheese.

It was play time - Kendall fixed us some yummy snacks in her kitchen while Kayden and I played Disney Scrabble -

And it isn't an evening at Gigi's without some sewing =)

She does such a good job - I can't wait to start working on my Christmas projects now that I have a helper.

And then after a good night's sleep...off to school and daycare.  Yep....these girls are truly adorable, sweet little girls.
