Merry Christmas!

May today be filled with joy, peace and happiness!

Policemen and M&M's and Ghosts and Gobblins....

Yep, it's all about closing down the town and having all the little creatures come out to fill their baskets, bats and pillowcases, ha!

We purchased our candy and grabbed our neighbors then found a spot.

Whew Wee -

There was a LOT of 'em.  Within 15 minutes we had gone through 245 pieces of candy....giving one per trick or treater.  Geez -

We saw The Claw machine (Cierra and Ronnie's fav game) along with a Boom Box -

A policeman -

Even a pumpkin gettin' all fixed up at Studio M -

But our favorite were these little Princesses - Elsa and Anna =)

She finally got to show off her costume!

A few bags more then we had time to hop on our bikes and ride in with the gang -

We made it to Lawrence street -

Where some got to show off their cool lights -

Yep....lots of pretty bikes all in a row -

A fun night it was!

Needing prayers, lol

How perfect that this little guy (or maybe girl) appears -

and when I click the shutter, he turns his head.

But seriously.....aren't they odd characters?  Oh well....as long as they pray for me, I really don't care what they look like....hehe!

Honestly, it's been a rough couple of months.  Let's just say I have a whole new appreciation for Brantley Gilbert's "What are we gonna do with those boys" song.  I'll leave it at that.

But....life does go on and we can't let a perfect Fall afternoon watching this cheerleader -

and she was AWESOME!

And we couldn't have found a better way to spend our afternoon.  Proud Gigi & Poppy!  Is she really just 5?!

Nanny - this is just for you!  Happy Grandparent's day =)

We are glad you have your computer back AND we could make you chuckle, LOL.

My entire life....

yes, I said ENTIRE life I have lived in West Virginia.  Actually within a 10 mile radius.  But....today was the first time I visited Keyser -

The home of Potomac State Baseball -  Yay....

Chase played on their field today.  It was HOT, HUMID and MISERABLE but worth the drive.  The campus is located in the mountains

And such a pretty setting....horses all around.  Chase even got to catch the speed of our pitchers =)

They lost but played a good game.  This game officially kicked off the season and I'm pretty happy about it.  Welcome Fall.  Welcome Fall Ball!

Happy Labor Day!

This isn't one of my favorite holidays given it's kinda the end of summer but......I hope everyone has a great weekend and Labor Day.

According to wikipedia, it's the end of a great time when everyone has to return to work, geez.....see why it's not my fav holiday?!

Oh well,  Cheers to a great Fall...

Ahhhhhh.......a LONG weekend!

Just something about having a 3 day weekend....I plan, make my list, add to it tons of times and am determined to go back to work on Tuesday feeling accomplished, lol.

But who can pass up taking a break and heading here -

this is definitely one of my favorite places to go.  Last year we didn't take the canoe out once and although we are getting a late start, we have gone twice in one week.  Yay me!

You just never know what you are going to see - maybe a few loons -

some dragon flies (humping at that, haha) -

how about a doe? -

But the most exciting time is when I hear that train 'a comin' round the bend!

We went there the other night and actually saw three trains....THAT was a good night =)

Paddling makes us just a little hungry so off to our fav Shepherdstown restaurant -

The salmon is awesome!

So I'd say that our first day of the three day weekend wasn't too shabby, ha!

Cookies, Brownies, Breads, Pies.....OH MY!

Yep!  The goods were lined up -

The sheets were handed out -

And the auctioneer started us off -

Cierra's club went 3rd -

And who purchased their basket?!  Ahhhhh  All Inclusive Expertise, LLC -

Pretty cool Thank You card by Robert Tuckwiller -

And I can't think of anything better to snack on laying in bed, watching TV, LOL!
