I stumbled upon blogging after I created a Facebook account and have been addicted ever since! It is certainly an easy, cost efficient way to keep our family and friends up to date with our adventures and..enables me to keep my scrapbooking in order, ha!
Here's how it all began - Ronnie and I have been happily married for 17 years. It's been a wonderful ride and we are 'looking forward to looking back' with each other. We have four children; Jeremy 25, Brittany 20, Cierra 13 and Chase 11. We also have been blessed with our first grandchild, Kayden Brooke who joined this family on January 22, 2009. I say it all the time but she had to be sent straight from heaven. She is a beautiful angel with the best personality and demeanor I have ever witnessed. I can't go without mentioning Ashley - she is such a big part of our family and has been for the past 8 years. Not only is she Kayden's Mommy but she is our 'daughter-in-law' in so many ways!
We live in a little town called Leetown that doesn't even have a Post Office. We have one dog, Java who is a Jack Russell and a cat named Scanlon, other than that we simply have a full house where the door is always open!
I enjoy blogging (of course), scrapooking, photography, reading, quilting, rving and spending time with my family doing whatever it is we are involved in. Our children are actively involved in 4H which brings new animals into our lives each year. Our family is active at the Leetown United Methodist Church where they both attend Sunday School and Cierra coordinates the Nursery. I am a Sunday School teacher for the teens and enjoy helping them coordinate activites and fund raisers each year. Ronnie is the Scout Master for Troop 95 where Chase is a Boy Scout. Ronnie also manages a competitive baseball team in which Chase is a player. Jeremy has a love for animals and works at the Charles Town Race Track. Brittany just recently received her license as a Cosmetologist in the state of Maryland. Ashley and I work for a mortgage company also in Maryland while Ronnie works locally for my Dad who has a general contracting business. So, as you can see - life is pretty good on the corner in Leetown!
I hope you enjoy reading about our life in the house on the corner! I am certainly enjoying making 'blog' friends along the way.
I loved reading and learning about your family! Looking forward to following you :)
